The context.
A remittance product has to join the customer journey with exchange-rate logic, compliance handling, payout processing, and support operations. I led development planning and hands-on engineering across these workflows while strengthening how the team shipped and supported changes.
My contribution.
- Lead cross-functional development planning, technical task allocation, code review, milestone delivery, and production stabilization.
- Architect sender and receiver workflows, currency exchange logic, payout integrations, compliance handling, and transaction tracking.
- Build and support API layers consumed by web clients, mobile applications, and business partners.
- Improve operational tools for payment teams, including status visibility, reconciliation support, and investigation of failed transactions.
- Strengthen testing discipline, review practices, release checks, and hands-on mentoring.
The result.
- Reduced post-production defects by 90% through stronger reviews, testing practices, and mentoring, as recorded in my professional résumé.
- Built a foundation in connecting engineering quality to payment reliability.
Release discipline is a product capability when software is responsible for moving customers’ money.
